Marlene has been a dental hygienist since 1981.  Seventeen of those years she has spent with Dr. Carmichael.  She enjoys getting to know the families, some of which are third & fourth generation.  She also appreciates working for a dentist who truly enjoys his work. She has two adult daughters and in her time away from work she volunteers with a boxer rescue group, enjoys U of O football, camping, kayaking and traveling.

 

Mylene graduated from LCC Dental Hygiene program in 1985.  Her very first day on the job was at Dr. Carmichael’s office.  She has worked continuously since, and happily now is full time exclusively at Dr. Carmichael’s.   She believes a teeth cleaning appointment to be a positive, friendly, informative experience – nothing to be stressed about.  She feels fortunate to work in an office where people are treated individually.  When not working, her interests include:  road trips, eclectic second-hand collecting, studying cookbooks, various arts & crafts, and enjoying a fine cocktail.
